GIRL GENIUS VIRTUAL SUMMIT

Girl Genius is a 501(c)(3) striving to build an inclusive community where girls of all backgrounds in STEAM (non-binary and trans-inclusive) are given a voice to empower the next generation of changemakers. Since 2018, our tam of 260+ girls have reached 460,000+ girls worldwide through our social media, slack, and virtual workshops on UX, networking, building non-profits, and securing internships. On July 5th, we are thrilled to launch out first Girl Genius virtual conference, packed with exciting STEAM-related workshops and panels. We will be holding workshops that encompass all five components of STEAM: getting research internships, animation, AV/VR, and coding.

Our panellists will discuss the process of applying to a STEAM major in college (accepted to Caltech, Columbia, Duke, UIUC, UWash, Yale, USC), navigating STEAM in the workforce, working at companies, like NASA, approaching recruiters, and much more!
